Thurso Golf Club: A Legacy Forged in the Highlands

The Dawn of Golf in Thurso (1893-1900)

Growth and Grit (1901-1919)

The early 20th century saw Thurso Golf Club blossom, with the Ormlie course becoming the epicenter of golf in the region. The club’s steadfast members steered it through the tumult of World War I, emerging with a course refined and a spirit undiminished, ready to embrace the roaring twenties.

Between Wars: Challenges and Triumphs (1920-1939)
